Saphan has filed two patent applications for the approach behind Saphan Studio: agents act only under a signed human decision, and every change lands in a record that cannot be rewritten afterwards. The U.S. application, filed in August 2026, is broad. The European application is narrower in scope. Both are pending; no patent has been granted.

The way Saphan Studio keeps agents answerable to people is our own work, filed and dated. Details of the applications are shared with investors and partners under NDA.
